Thursday, 24 February 2011 00:00
In early February, in partnership with UNRWA, Interpal distributed a consignment of 19 containers of canned Qurbani 2010 meat to refugees in the Gaza Strip. The distribution of the meat took place at the Tuffah Branch of UNRWA’s funding centre and was part of Interpal’s ‘Eidul-Adha/Qurbani Meat Project which helps to provide added nutritional value to the diet of refugees in need.

November 5: 2009

Interpal is now gearing up for its next major fundraising campaign – the ‘Eidul-Adha Appeal. The campaign aims to provide Food Aid and other vital supplies while helping to facilitate the performance of Qurbani for donors in the UK who wish to benefit impoverished communities in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, and the refugee camps in Jordan and Lebanon.

Only £60 will enable you to perform Qurbani, a strongly recommended religious act (according to Imam Abu Hanifah it is compulsory to do so).

Beat the postal strikes and make your donations via our website www.interpal.org/donate or ring our Donation Hotline on 020 8961 9993 to make your Qurbani pledges.

Remember, we accept late Qurbani orders up until the second day of ‘Eid!

Visit our ‘Eidul-Adha Appeal page for information about our campaign and find out more about ‘Eidul-Adha, Hajj and Qurbani.
