On 19 June 2011 a number of Interpal's trustees, key staff, fundraisers and volunteers entered the Gaza Strip with the Miles of Smiles Convoy 3 to deliver a supply of essential medicines, other medical supplies and devices (such as wheelchairs) to aid the disabled. This was the start of a 6 day field trip to Interpal's Gaza Field Office, inspect projects supported by Interpal and participate in implementing some of the charity's ongoing work.
