During the blessed month of Ramadan Interpal aims to provide essential aid to the most needy.  Interpal has created a series of Ramadan packages to meet the basic requirements of the Palestinian people:

£15 - will feed 6 people during a collective iftar in Ramadan. This food is essential as majority of Palestinians are dependent on food aid which is not always reliable.  In addition to this food insecurity levels remain high at approximately 38% in Palestine, around 56% in Gaza and amongst refugees it is nearly 44%.

£25 - will provide a Ramadan food parcel for one family. The parcels are made up of staple foods to enable Palestinians to successfully endure through the month. Each food parcel typically contains:

£100 - will sponsor two families in Ramadan; a family generally means 8-10 people. Your donations will provide financial assistance to the families, allowing them to purchase basic necessities for the month.

£3.50 - Zakat al-Fitr and Other unspecified amounts – will help Interpal distribute crucial funds to the Palestinians so that they can buy exactly what they need to meet their specific requirements.

£30 - will provide 'Eid gifts, this will include the distribution of new clothes for children and widows, as well as toys for children. This will give them something to look forward to on the special occasion.

The people in Palestine are faced with continuous water shortages and contaminated water with nearly 93% of the available water in the Gaza Strip does not meet World Health Organisation Standards.

£40 will provide 250 litre family sized water tank to a needy family.

£10 will enable Interpal to supply clean drinking water to a family for one month.

£100 will provide a public water tank to a mosque, school or hospital.

£20 will enable Interpal to supply clean drinking water for a month to a mosque, school or hospital.

Education is seen as a passport out of poverty for the destitute children of Palestine, and therefore Interpal has the following aid packages for the Palestinian children:

£25 – will provide a school kit: the school kit comprises of a bag, stationary kit and exercise books, all materials are essential for students to successfully study at school.

£100 – will sponsor a student for a term. This will ensure that students have all the required equipment for the term as well as any transport and additional costs.

£500 – will purchase educational materials for a school. This will include donations to repairing the school building, particularly in Gaza, where buildings have been damaged from air strikes. We also contribute towards minibuses for the transportation of pupils as well as projects for science laboratories and psycho-social support for pupils suffering trauma.
