In conjunction with its 'Eidul-Adha/Qurbani Campaign, Interpal will be beaming its live charity appeal direct from the holy city of Makkah on Friday 12 November 2010 from 8pm. In addition to performing Qurbani in accordance with Shari'ah and distributing financial aid and food parcels, Interpal representatives will be organising 'Eidul-Adha celebrations in its main areas of operation, especially the Gaza Strip, for orphans and needy children, terminally ill patients, widows, the disabled and the elderly. Join Islam Channel presenters, special guests and Interpal representatives on this night. Share your joy this 'Eid with those who really need your support, and donate generously for the benefit of Palestinians in need. |

On the day that she announced publicly her conversion to Islam, journalist and broadcaster Lauren Booth took time out to run 100 metres in the Gaza 100 world record attempt to help the people of Palestine. The programme took place at the Global Peace & Unity event in London.

Interpal’s second live appeal on Islam Channel during this Blessed Month raised more than £90,000 as part of the charity’s Ramadan fund-raising campaign. Most of the money will be used to develop Interpal’s Clean Water Project; Interpal is a member of the global End Water Poverty Campaign along with other NGOs from around the world.
Once again, it is a privilege to thank the Almighty for inspiring all of our donors to help such an important and worthy cause. Two of Interpal's trustees were in Lebanon on a field visit. Ibrahim Hewitt and Ismail Ginwalla visited recently-funded projects in the south of Lebanon, notably in Sidon and Tyre, along with other projects which are being considered for funding. This is part of Interpal's due diligence procedure to ensure that our donors can be assured that their donations are helping the most needy Palestinian refugees, insha'Allah. Interpal mounts its second live television appeal on Islam Channel TONIGHT! Please join us from 21:00 BST for 10 hours of fundraising with host Sajid Varda and guests including Interpal Chairman Ibrahim Hewitt.
