Regrettably, due to adverse weather conditions, Interpal has had to cancel the planned charity dinner in Bradford scheduled for 25 December 2010. Plans are underway to run the event early next year, possibly in February. However, the charity dinner in Birmingham planned for 29 January 2011 to raise much neeeded funds for Interpal Medical Aid projects in the Gaza Strip will proceed. There is plenty of time to show your support by booking your tickets today to avoid disappointment. Everyone is welcome, so do encourage your family and friends to support the event too!

Upcoming Interpal fundraising events PDF Print E-mail

Interpal is organising two fundraising events in the coming weeks. Both the Bradford and the Birmingham offices are organising a charity dinner on 25 December 2010 and 29 January 2011 respectively to raise much neeeded funds for Interpal projects in the Gaza Strip. All proceeds from the events will go towards providing Medical Aid in the Gaza Strip. Over the past 12 months or so Interpal has provided medical equipment delivered via mercy convoys. Interpal has also contributed to a needy patients' fund in the Gaza Strip. Show your support and bring your family and friends along. Book your tickets today to avoid disappointment.

YOUNG PLANNERS 2nd Annual Youth Conference and Concert PDF Print E-mail

YOUNG PLANNERS are organizing their annual conference this Saturday, 18 December 2010 at Kensington Town Hall, Hornton Street, London W8 7NX from 11:00am to 20:30pm. It will be a day of learning, entertainment and empowerment with inspiring speakers and well-known nasheed artists. Charities and other organisations will also have stalls at the venue. Interpal attended the training workshop on “European Advocacy and Funding for Muslim-Led Charities” organised by the Muslim CharitiesForum (MCF) in partnership with Euclid Network. The workshop was held from 09:30am to 5pm on Wednesday 8 December 2010 at CAN MEZZANINE, 49 -  51 East Road, Old Street, London N1 6AH. Speakers included Paul Adamson (Founder and Publisher of E!Sharp magazine), Jens Nymad Christensen (Director for Civil Society Affairs at Secretariat General at the European Commission), Jonathan Scheele (Head of the EU Delegation in the UK), Sarah Douik (EU Representative, Islamic Relief Worldwide), Briand De Lord (Chief Executive, PupilParentPartnership), Dr. Hany El-Banna (Chairman, Muslim Charities Forum), Filippo Addarii (Executive Director, Euclid Network) and Ben Rattenbury (Programme Manager, Euclid Network). It was a valuable insight into lobbying at EU level which attendees found extremely useful.
